An interesting read

Category: Misc

NY Times criticizes American Idol. A timely article. Indian television programming is following America's way, and Indian Idol is no different from what's mentioned in the article about American Idol. Wannabe singers—some good, some bad, others just for the heck of it; being insulted by the judges, as it's a reality show, and the public lapping it up. It's exhibitionism at it's worst, and I'm happy watching something else on television.
