Thoughts on Usage.

"This CD-ROM provides a robust collection of resources."

That's a heavy duty adjective—robust. Why should a collection be robust?
Can't it be extensive, informative, useful, original, latest, or any other adjective?

What they mean to convey is, we've a huge collection of resources which is informative and reliable. So the correct adjective would be rich don't you think so?

Isn't this better, 'This CD-ROM provides a rich collection of xyzee resources, and we encourage you to utilize it to your advantage,' or 'we encourage you to use it,' or something similar.
