India's $8 billion diamond industry.

From Palanpur on the Gujarat-Rajasthan border to Surat, Gujarat to Bombay, to Antwerp, Belgium to Johannesburg, SA to New York.

India's software industry earned approx. $10 billion (last year's figures) and accounted for around 0.5% of the world's market share.

India's diamond industry earned approx. $8 billion and accounted for almost 80% of the world's market share.
