Verse
A verse on a lazy Thursday afternoon.
Naa jee bhar ke dekha na kuch baat ki
Badi aarzoo thi mulaaqat ki
Mai chup raha to chalti hawa bhi ruk gayee
Zabaan sab samajhte hai jazbaat ki
Taken from the public domain.
An English translation goes as:
(She) did not look longingly, nor did she speak a word
It was my fervent desire to meet her
I remained quite and the breeze stopped blowing
Everyone understands the language of emotion

Wow, that's a nice logo for the day
Google celebrates the birth anniversary of Spanish surrealist painter Joan Miro with a painting doodle as its logo for the day. Isn't it beautiful?
Surrealism is an art style that uses dreams, fantasies, and the subconscious to create fantastic imagery. In short, art that does not have a logical explanation but is art because it looks good. In umr se lambi sadkon ko manzil pe pahonchte dekha nahin
Bas daudti phirti rehti hai hamne to thaherte dekha nahin...
These roads longer than a lifetime never seem to reach their destination
Keep on running and roaming, never have I seen them stopping

Beautiful Lines
Beautiful is the word to describe these lines from Bashir Badr's Urdu shayari.
1. Koii haath bhii na milaayegaa, jo gale miloge tapaak se
Ye naye mizaaj kaa shahar hai, zaraa faasale se milaa karo
No one will even shake your hand if you try and show warmth
This is a city with a new found temperament (pride), keep your distance to meet people.
2. Aisaa lagataa hai zindagi tum ho
Ajnabii jaise ajnabii tum ho
It seems like you are my life
Yet you are a stranger like any other
Doston se vafaa kii ummiiden
Kis zamaane ke aadamii tum ho
Expecting loyalty from friends
You seem to be a person from another world
