Haikus

Category: Misc

A Haiku (5-7-5 verse)

The challenge is in writing meaningful verses with nature as a theme.

An idle afternoon on terrace
A moment to view movement and motion
A sparrow flutters, then flies

Time stands still and passes
Minutes are lengthy and days get over
Summer's colour, grass turns brown

Still body, a churning mind
Hot breeze blowing in a cloudless sky
Leaves fall, touch the ground
