India v. South Africa. 2nd Test. 5th Day. 2nd Dec. 2004.
India defeated South Africa by 8 wickets for a comprehensive victory. Chasing 117 to win, India reached the score comfortably with Rahul Dravid scoring 47 and Sachin getting good batting practice scoring 32 unbeaten runs.
Sehwag went early, caught by Smith of Ntini for 10, but Dravid and Gautam Gambhir steadied the innings, until Gambhir went at 60 after scoring 26. Sachin and Dravid shared an unbeaten 60 rus partnership and took India to a comfortable and comprehensive win, with Sachin bringing up the team's hundred by lofting Ontong for a huge six over long-on.
Harbhajan's incisive off spin bowling in the 2nd innings paved the way for India's win. He took seven wickets and Kumble took three to skittle out SA for only 222 runs in their 2nd innings.
From there on a target of 117 even on a final day wicket was easy.
