Live: Blogging the Rains

For the last three days it has been raining in the evenings after a perfect sunny morning. Wow, the sky has turned dark grey, trees are swaying in the breeze, the rain slants down. I've opened the window, ah! the wind on my face wow!

The view looks great fom my third floor office window. Wish I had a camera cell phone. It looks green and grey from here. Trees dance to the tunes of wind. Lovely, slight slanting rain, vehicles making a swisshhing sound on the street below, the Eucalyptus trees swaying in the breeze. Its raining harder. This is good. Looks so good from up above and the roads will be a mess this evening. Hope there isn't a power cut at home.

Small rivulets from on the road. Raindrops enter the window, some of them fall on the monitor. It's raining harder. Wow! I like it! The wind on my face, drops of rain pitter-pattering on the window sill, oh there's a sound of thunder. The keyboard is getting wetter with the raindrops. Only a car or two passing below. It continues to rain. This is a good half-an-hour downpour. Hope it continues longer, but without the power cuts. The breeze stops, and it rains harder. Sheets of silvery-grey fall between the trees. I've got to close the window. It's raining even harder. Now stops; now speeds; slants sometimes, then falls straight. Blogging the rains live. F.C. Road, Pune, India 04:38 p.m. IST.

Update: 05:00 p.m. IST
It has stopped raining.
